Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to mark the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.
Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary brought together a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and eu news china a presentation looking toward the coming years.
Since opening its doors, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
